Character # 4 - "Life is beautiful, so are you"
Welcome to week 4 of the 8 Characters of the workplace.
The Romeo is easily identifiable by the ‘come hither’ look in his eye. He is never shy and always seeks out company. Preferably the female version.
This is the colleague who will undoubtedly befriend any and all ladies who walks through the office doors. He is an easy and sophisticated character, effortlessly making some naive colleague do tasks he was supposed to do in the first place. The Romeo can manipulate an aggravated situation with a few smooth tête-à-tête moves and leave everyone contented.
In prelude to the Year End Function, he will not-so-subtly find find out which single ladies will be attending, and meticulously google new pick-up lines to use at the event. Or he will use some of the successful lines in his excessive repertoire. Like, “Do you know what my shirt is made of? Boyfriend material.” And “You don’t need keys to drive me crazy”
When these lines epically fail at the Year End Function, The Romeo will just shrug off the rejection and take thee shots of Tequila. He will be the bomb on the dance floor and further shower every woman with compliments – which isn’t a bad thing at all!
At the end, we can’t help loving the Romeo, because he loves everyone!
We know you know exactly who we’re talking about… forward this to THE ROMEO and spread the love!
